Here's what athletes and their parents have known for years but nobody seemed to care about:
The gloves dominating the market were designed for one type of player and left everyone else to figure it out. You'd spend good money on a pair that felt great in the store, slick on the field, and completely useless the second it started drizzling. Or they'd break down after a few games. Or they'd come labeled "youth" but sized for a smaller adult hand, worn loose on a 7-year-old's fingers, serving no one.
And women? The football industry had been handing them shrunken men's gloves for decades. Not a fit engineered for their hands. Just a smaller version of something designed for a different anatomy.
Meanwhile, the gear got flashier. The price tags got bigger. And the gap between what serious athletes needed and what the big brands were actually delivering? It kept growing.
That's the gap Massov® was built to close.

A group of sports fanatics, material scientists and engineers, and former players came together around one shared belief: Athletes at every level deserve gear engineered for them. Not just the pros. Not just the college rosters. The 8-year-old running a route in the backyard. The 15-year-old grinding through JV tryouts in October rain. The high schooler who wants to look like the pros and play like it too. And the women who've been playing real football while the equipment industry looked the other way.
The name Massov® (pronounced "massive") wasn't chosen by accident. It's a declaration. A massive commitment to performance. A massive belief in what young athletes are capable of. And a massively different approach to how athletic equipment gets made.
We started with the field: the conditions, the drops, the missed moments, and the players who'd been underserved for too long, and worked backwards. What does a glove need to do that no glove has ever done well enough? Who has been waiting for a glove actually built for them?
Those questions became our obsession. The answers became innovations.
Massov® launched as a brand in 2023. But the experience behind it goes back further, nearly four decades of product engineering experience spent designing, developing, and building gear for athletes who couldn't afford it to fail.
That experience doesn't live in one product. It lives in every piece of equipment that carries the Massov® name.
